Neo Monoblock (delivering 400W into 8 Ohms and 800W into
4 Ohms) and the Progression Neo Stereo (providing 250W
into 8 Ohms and 500W into 4 Ohms). Both units are anchored
by a massive 1,800 VA custom-made toroidal transformer
and 96,000 microfarads of capacitance, creating a power
reservoir capable of driving any loudspeaker to its fullest
capability with absolute authority.
Advanced JFET Topology
The defining technical advancement in the Progression Neo
amplifiers is the new input stage, which utilizes the same
JFET (Junction Field-Effect Transistor) concept found in the
Momentum Z Monoblock Amplifier. The choice of device at
the very front end where the delicate musical signal enters
the circuit is one critical aspect of the design. Challenging
to deploy in a power amplifier, the unique 'Agostino JFET
topology exploits their exceptionally low noise and smooth,
linear transfer characteristics while eliminating the challenging
parameters that has prevented their use previously. This
design ensures that micro-level musical details are passed
into the amplification stages intact, without being masked
or colored. Furthermore, the input stage is fully regulated
to guarantee this high level of performance regardless of
external electrical influences.
Signature D'Agostino Design
These amplifiers are housed within a new streamlined chassis
that is centered around a new Dual Domain Meter Display
that merges classic analog elegance with modern digital
inteligence. True to D'Agostino tradition, power is indicated
by the iconic meter wand, a defining visual and functional
element of power amplifiers bearing the Dan D'Agostino
Master Audio Systems name. This display also includes a
high-resolution LCD that serves as both a power meter and
a diagnostic message display.
System Management and Diagnostics
Beyond raw performance, the Progression Neo Monoblock
and Stereo Amplifiers offer sophisticated system
management via an integrated RJ45 Ethernet connection.
Through any web browser on a home network, users can
access a real-time dashboard to monitor critical service
parameters-including operating voltages, temperature, bias,
and DC offset-while also providing control over front panel
settings for a fully personalized user experience. Pairing with
the Progression Neo Preamplifier forms a synergistic bond,
